Die Sirene

1980. Abadan, the oil capital of Iran, resists the Iraqi siege. Omid, 14, refuses to leave the city despite the siege and stays with his grandfather to wait for his older brother, who is fighting on the front lines. He meets unusual characters who all have their different reasons for staying in the city. As the situation deteriorates and the city is about to fall, Omid tries to save everyone he cares about with an abandoned boat he discovered in the port of Abadan. The boat becomes his ark.
